Compassa Highly Commended at the 2026 Safety & Health Excellence Awards

The Bottom Line: Compassa was officially awarded “Commended” (3rd place) for Training Provider of the Year at the 2026 Safety & Health Excellence (SHE) Awards. While we missed the gala event to focus on family and the development of our upcoming NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate, this recognition highlights our commitment to revolutionising interactive health and safety eLearning.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Compassa has been officially recognized at the 2026 Safety & Health Excellence (SHE) Awards.

In a highly competitive category filled with some of the biggest names in the industry, Compassa was awarded a “Commended” mention for Training Provider of the Year, officially placing us 3rd overall.

We want to extend a massive congratulations to Mentor Training for taking the top spot, as well as to our peers at other NEBOSH learning partners who missed out, and the other fantastic finalists. Just being recognised in such prestigious company is a massive milestone for our award-winning eLearning platform.

The “Family Business” Reality (Why We Weren’t There)

If you follow the health and safety industry on LinkedIn, your feed has likely been flooded with photos of teams at the SHE Awards gala, dressed in tuxedos and gowns, raising champagne flutes, and celebrating on stage.

You might have noticed that Compassa is absent from those photos.

The honest reality of being a family-owned and operated business is that attending a Wednesday night gala hundreds of miles away is a logistical nightmare. Arranging mid-week babysitting is tough! While I would have loved to be there, at the exact moment our “Commended” mention was announced, I was at home reading a bedtime story to my kids.

The very next morning, I was back up early to do the school run and get straight back to work.

What is Next for Compassa?

I could have sent our wider team to the awards in my absence, but they were simply too busy. Right now, the entire Compassa team is working flat out on our next major release.

In September 2026, we will officially launch our highly anticipated NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate online course. We are pouring all our energy into ensuring it features the same groundbreaking, interactive video technology that earned us this award recognition in the first place.
