Will is the voice you’ll hear in your headphones and the face you’ll see on your screen. As a Chartered Safety Practitioner and former NEBOSH examiner, he knows exactly what the examiners want to hear. He founded Compassa to prove that “safety training” doesn’t have to mean “boredom.”

The Visual Wizard Adam is the reason Compassa doesn’t look like a 1990s textbook. He handles the visuals, the branding, and the sleek design that makes our platform a joy to use. He believes that just because it’s “Health & Safety” doesn’t mean it can’t look beautiful.

Who Are Compassa?
Compassa are bringing IOSH and NEBOSH eLearning into the 21st century. We are the first organisation to pioneer Interactive Video eLearning technology in our eLearning. With a video tutor you interact with, our students say it feels like 1-to-1 tuition.
Compassa also make use of the latest gamification technologies, to bring health and safety eLearning to real-life. Their award-winning approach makes use of roleplaying scenarios and 3D simulators.
We noticed a problem: Health & Safety training had become a “tick-box” exercise. It was text-heavy, uninspired, and frankly, boring. We knew that if people weren’t engaged, they weren’t learning. And if they weren’t learning, they weren’t safe.
So, we stopped acting like a traditional training provider and started thinking like a media company. We replaced slideshows with storyboards and lectures with interaction. We built this team to prove that you can be compliant and entertained at the same time.

Will Taylor is a career health and professional since 2001. He is a Chartered Member of IOSH with most NEBOSH qualifications and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Safety and Environmental Management from the University of Hull.
He has worked at frontline and senior management level in a wide variety of industries, including vehicle conversion, healthcare manufacturing, airports, and financial services/call-centres.
His motto is “Make courses you would want to study” and personally leads the design and development of all our IOSH and NEBOSH courses, as well as leading our tutors in supporting our learners.

It's a struggle to switch off day job and commit to any course when you have a very busy and pressured role, however I found this great to be able to do in my time when I could fit it in.Some days I was logging on late in the evenings, after a long day in work and feeling very tired but the videos and the light humour made it so much easier to get involved.
