The process of risk assessment is identical, but the legal references in this workbook are based on UK law (Health and Safety at Work Act, etc.). If you are doing the GIC2, you need to reference International (ILO) standards. You can however, purchase the International version of this studybook here.
Does this include a completed Risk Assessment to copy?
No, and for good reason. NEBOSH uses strict software to detect plagiarism. If you copy a “model” assessment, you will be disqualified for malpractice. Instead, this workbook provides examples of hazards, controls, and arguments that you can adapt to your own workplace. It teaches you how to write it yourself so you pass safely and legitimately.
Is this guide suitable for the old NG2 assignment?
Yes! This guide is primarily built for the new GNC2 unit, but the course content is 99.9% the same as the old NG2 unit.
